Many retailers and brands have their own fan page on Facebook, although they don’t use them actively. Many of these pages are not up to date, while this is the spotlight of the brand. The range of Facebook is enormous: in total there are 500 million users, of which 41% uses the social network every day. But users do not only spend their time on Facebook, they also spend their money regularly trough fan pages. Research shows that half of the brand followers ordered products of the brand through fan pages on Facebook.
